Nicholas decided to surprise me with a little day trip this weekend and it couldn't have been any more perfect. We went back to Little Rock, Arkansas to enjoy the downtown area, take pictures, and eat at a really groovy restaurant. I'm reallly lessed to have this dude as my person. When we finally got there, we decided to eat lunch at this groovy little chicken shack and take a nice walk all around downtown. Later in the night, the live bands started playing, clubs began forming lines of sparkly females and anxious men. There's something about the atmosphere that I find special, especially when I'm with Nic! Here are some pictures from the evening.

Yesterday I was able to take a miniature road trip to Arkladelphia, Arkansas with one of my best friends. My brother goes to school at Ouachita Baptist University and I get to make day trips occasionally to watch him play football. The problem with those trips is that I drive for three hours, usually stay two hours, then drive another three hours back home. It's not ideal, but I do get to make my family happy and that matters. I grabbed some shots, as did Carly as we made our way to and from Arkadelphia. Arkansas is always such a treat.
